As I sit here sipping my peppermint hot chocolate (extra whipped cream—because we’re still easing out of holiday mode), I’m reflecting on the final chapter of 2024 with a heart full of gratitude.
December was a whirlwind of festive chaos, last-minute shopping marathons, and enough twinkling lights to make Clark Griswold proud. Seriously, I’m convinced I spent more time untangling Christmas lights than actually decorating.
But beyond the glitter and holiday tunes, I’m incredibly thankful for the moments that truly mattered. From helping amazing clients find their dream homes just in time for the holidays to sharing laughter and creating memories with loved ones, December reminded me what’s truly important.
Of course, no December would be complete without a few hilarious mishaps—like my attempt at a fancy gingerbread house that ended up more like a modern art piece. My children still beat me on building the best gingerbread house.
Now, as we are into 2025, I’m carrying the lessons, laughter, and love from the past year forward. To my wonderful clients, friends, and family—you've made this year unforgettable, and I can’t wait to see what the new year brings.
What’s one thing you’re proud of or thankful for as we kick off the new year? Share your stories in the comments—I’d love to hear them!
